PDF Xchange Viewer With Ocr Support: What You Should Know
Open-Xchange has a vast database of PDFs, from business documents to scientific papers and works on the go. Free Features PDF Viewer: OCR The FREE plugin can read out the entire range of characters in the original PDF, including letters, numbers, punctuation, and even accents. PDF Annotate: The FREE plugin can draw a box around all or part of a highlighted area. PDF Annotation: The FREE plugin allows for a lot of customization, including the ability to add text on the annotations and annotations themselves. PDF OCR & Digitally Sign OCR and Digitally Sign are enabled automatically upon first view on any PDF scanned. OCR (Original Color) The OCR process starts in the scan window with both images on display. OCR (Digitally Signed) OCR and Digitally Signed PDFs are stored separately in the PDF directory. Support for the Adobe Pre-format PDF document library OCR and Digitally Signed PDFs are stored separately in the PDF directory. Support for the Microsoft Word DOCX format OCR and Digitally Signed PDFs are stored separately in the PDF directory. Printing, Annotations, Annotations When viewing an image, the user can see a preview of the image prior to converting it, allowing a fast and smooth scan of the scanned page for annotation while in OCR mode. Saving PDFs When the scan area is fully displayed after creating an OCR, any PDFs in the same directory are saved in a standard PDF format. Parsing and OCR works by using basic word processing tools like OpenOffice to generate a standard ASCII/PDF document. OCR is done by pointing a cursor where we want the text to be in the document and running OCRText.exe on the image at that position. Language: English OCR-to-Text Dictionary/Linguistics/OCR Script Language You can create your own language by copying and pasting the definitions below into “Open-Xchange_LanguageFile.txt”: Open-Xchange OCR Language File To use your language with the OCR Text to OCR text dialog box, select your language from the drop-down list.
