A very basic Sumatra PDF reader. — Reddit Aug 31, 2022 — In the last few years, I've become quite fond of the latest development version of Sumatra PDF, v 5. The speed and compatibility have been outstanding so far. In v6.0.2 we introduced some features, and will keep up the improvements until 2019. I've been using this for a while and I like it. Sumatra PDF v5.0 released — Reddit Aug 26, 2022 — I love Sumatra PDF, but not for the simple use case I mentioned, especially compared to more advanced alternatives. I found it a bit hard to use and a great deal of effort to use in comparison. This makes me think the app can only be used for those who want a simple PDF reader. Sumatra PDF v5.1 released — r/programming — Reddit Oct 13, 2022 — Sumatra PDF v5.1, released. Now with even more speed and stability. I have to thank the team over on GitHub because their work is invaluable for the app's development. I really like Sumatra PDF and want to stick with it. Furthermore, I don't like that default toolbar is ugly, but I still use it to quickly open large PDFs.
